Bonkers. And I say that having a very high tolerance for the bizarre. The narrator of these prose-poems is often explicitly in a fever or traveling in invented lands. If there can be said to be a goal to the work (debatable), it is to fold journeys outside the human experience back in. It’s the kind of thing that makes a little more sense during a plague.
